Science Rewards Program
ICST is the first professional society with a Science Rewards Program, which makes ICST members partners in building the society and participating in its success. Science Rewards Program awards members at all membership levels with concrete benefits to facilitate their access to Society activities at discounted or complementary rates. The Science Rewards Program further encourages young and talented students to use the entire range of the Society's services at significantly reduced participation conditions or on a complementary basis, and is designed to allow members at all economic levels to participate by benefiting from the quality of their contribution.
1. Point Categories
Within the Science Rewards Program, Society members can be awarded two types of reward points; Participation Points and Royalty Points. Participation points are granted to reward contribution to Society's activities. Royalty points are granted based on the recognition of a member's contribution by other Society members as evidenced and registered by community access to content generated by the member. Royalty points can be used as direct payment for accessing content at the different ICST portals or participating at the different ICST events up to a total cost of the activity. Royalty points are applicable system wide to all society activities and are gained on all non-royalty points paid access to any ICST copyrighted material in any form, medium, event, publication or web tool.
2. Science Rewards Program Multiplier
All Reward Points, Participation as well as Royalty Points, count towards the promotion of a Society Member and greater levels of Science Rewards. Therefore, in addition to the prestige and community recognition earned, members' participation in any activity is, a welcome contribution to the Society, acts directly on the multiplier of Members Royalty points, and carries direct financial benefits from any activity accessed, reflecting on and directly rewarding the significance and impact of the member's work.
3. Reward Avenues
A. ICST Publications
In the society's publication system, including ICST Transactions and iC@ST, Participation Points are awarded to (a) selected reviewers successfully completing a review process of a submitted paper using the society's ASSYST or e-SCRIPTS submission systems, and (b) authors of accepted papers. Society members are awarded Participation Points through the following activities:
- Reviewing a submitted paper: 10 Participation Points
- Having an accepted paper: 30 Participation Points
Society members are awarded Royalty Points through the following activity:
- An author of an accepted paper receives a Royalty Point per each paid paper download. For papers with multiple authors the Royalty Points are divided by the number of authors. When a Society member downloads an issue with multiple papers (an issue, multiple issues, etc.), Royalty Points will be divided by the total number of papers and distributed evenly among all the authors.
B. ICST Events
The following Participation Points are awarded to ICST members participating in ICST events, including Scientific Conferences, Workshops, B2B, S2B and EIC events:

| Presenting an Accepted Paper: | 30 Participation Points; |
| Registering as a Non-Author: | 20 Participation Points. |
Society members are awarded Royalty Points through the following activities:

C. Conf-CAST - The Society's online presentation portal
Society members disseminating their scientific work in presentations formats, including conferences, webinars, tutorials or other multimedia content will receive the following Rewards Points:
Participation Points:

Having an accepted presentations: 20 Participation Points.
Royalty Points:

An author of an uploaded presentation receives Royalty Points every time her/his presentation is downloaded. An author of an accepted paper receives a Royalty Point per each paid paper download. For papers with multiple authors the Royalty points are divided by the number of authors. When a Society member downloads a combined Conf-CAST package with multiple papers (an issue, multiple issues, etc.), Royalty points will be divided by the total number of authors and distributed evenly.
D. Sci-Space - The Society's online social networking tool
Members in all Membership Levels can freely access Sci-SPACE, the Society's online social networking platform. The following Participation Points apply:

Membership Notes:
- All prices mentioned in this document are exclusive of VAT and subject to change.
- The Science Rewards Program is only available to ICST members.
- Participation and Royalty Points used to acquire upgrades to Premium Member and Premium Student Member levels have to be collected within one calendar year preceding the level granted.
- Participation and Royalty Points are non- refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash.
- ICST reserves the right to review and revise its Science Rewards Program at any time. Independent of any changes in the program, earned points will remain in effect for the duration of one year from the time of award.
- The Science Rewards Program fee structure may change upon ICST's discretion to encourage the use of specific Society tools and/or promote selected society activities.
- Number of Royalty points can be higher as a function of the Reward Points Multiplier according to the member's level in the society
- When combining Royalty Point and payment Royalty Points will applied according to the ICST access fees definition
