First International ICST Conference in Knowledge and Learning Networks to be announced

ICST is to announce the first International ICST Conference in Knowledge and Learning Networks to be held on October 29-31, 2009 in the USA. The organizational process of the event is being spearheaded by Dr. Katia PASSERINI from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, NJ, USA and supported by committee members from a wide range of international organizations, such as George Washington University, San Diego State University, the World Capital Institute and the Helsinki University of Technology among others.

The conference aims to discuss issues and trends in knowledge management and learning networks in the global economy and seeks to bring together various researchers, practitioners, learners and other stakeholders interested in knowledge management, organizational learning, training and development. The technical sessions of the conference will be grouped in multiple tracks connecting technology, people, processes oriented topics both from a micro-level (organizational) and macro-level (government, countries, and global) perspectives.

The proposed tracks of the conference include:
