Conf-C@ST - The Society's Online Conference Portal
Conf-C@ST is ICST's publication portal designed to facilitate remote participation and access to the technical sessions, workshops, keynote presentations, etc., of ICST sponsored events. Conf-C@ST features audio and digital file content from ICST's technical and business-to-business conferences as well as the Engineering for Innovation Conferences (EIC) series. Conf-C@ST allows immediate access to the audio and presentation versions of technical papers, and thus substantially accelerates the publication and dissemination cycle of research results.
Conf-C@ST provides a platform for the organization of virtual conferences, where submitted papers are peer-reviewed according to the standard procedures characterizing technical conferences; however, the selected papers are delivered remotely through a previously prepared PowerPoint presentation and an accompanying audio commentary. Conf-C@ST offers the required technologies to support such events with additional features such as online question and answer sessions, as well as live transmission of presentations.
Conf-C@ST also contributes to the dissemination of information and scientific ideas presented at regular technical and business-to-business events sponsored by ICST. Through the audio recording of presentations delivered during different sessions of a conference and the submission of their PowerPoint version, authors can publish their ideas through Conf-C@ST and benefit from an immediate post-conference dissemination opportunity as well as a much wider global audience.
