ICST Innovation Books Series

Published by the Institute for Computer Sciences, Social-Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering

Aims and Scope

The ICST Innovation Books Series has been promoted with the objective of fostering the integration of theoretical scientific research into industrial applications and products. The Books Series' mission is to accelerate the innovation cycle by providing an authoritative source of knowledge encompassing all the areas of the Society that are related to or are impacted by the continuous development of information and communication technologies.

The Innovation Books Series fulfills ICST's commitment of linking its academic, business, and regulatory aspects by equally soliciting contributions from researchers, practitioners, and decision makers. The series will publish edited books as well as monographs. The volumes of the ICST Innovation Books Series are supervised by an International Advisory Board headed by the ICST Books Series Editor. The individual volumes are overseen by the Volume Editors.

Dissemination

ICST Books are primarily distributed in digital format with hard copies produced on demand. The books series is promoted through ICST's international conferences and workshops, as well as through the Society's online publication, social networking, and collaborative tools. The digital format of ICST Books offers a wide array of direct benefits, not only for the authors through the shortened publication lifecycle of their scientific work, but also for individual readers through immediate accessibility, enhanced indexing, and reduced costs. Institutional subscribers, such as academic institutions and research centers, can take advantage of multiuser access, immediate updates, and offsite storage.
