NEC provides 1500 USD for Best Paper Award at BROADNETS 2009
November 20, 2008NEC Corporation, one of the largest global information technology and network solutions providers has offered 1500 USD to be granted as the Best Paper Award at Wireless Track of the Sixth International Conference on Broadband Communications, Networks and Systems (BROADNETS 2009). NEC's financial support to the conference is a direct result of an ongoing cooperation between ICST and the Japanese conglomerate whose research experts have been actively involved in several ICST events.
The BROADNETS conference series focuses on broadband communications, networks, and systems and covers the entire gamut of next generation networks, communications systems, applications and services. Next year's edition of the conference will be held on September 14-17, 2009 in Madrid, Spain and will continue offering a wide array of technical sessions groped in three different tracks, such as wireless, optical and internet. BROADNETS 2009 is being chaired by Dr.Srinivasan Ramasubramanian from the University of Arizona in Tucson, USA and Dr. Javier ARACIL from the Universidad Autunoma de Madrid in Madrid, Spain.
