Biography
Tao Zhang (S'04-M'06) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electronic Engineering from Wuhan University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, Hubei, China, in 1992 and 1998, respectively. She received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas, in 2005. In 2005, she joined the faculty at New York Institute of Technology at Old Westbury, where she is currently an Assistant Professor of Computer Science. Dr. Zhang is conducting research in the area of WDM optical networks, focusing on the design and analysis of optical network architectures and protocols.
