Publications Committee
The Institute's publications play a key role in fulfilling its vision and mission by promoting and focusing on research efforts and from harnessing the R&D excellence for the benefit of the sciences, economies, and societies. High quality publications are imperative in maximizing the visibility and impact of the Institute, and hence, the Publications Committee has a key responsibility to this end.
The Publications Committee is composed of Publications Committee Chairs, a Vice Chair, and Committee Members. Members of the Publications Committee are nominated and then selected from a group of internationally top-ranked individuals of high reputation within their respective disciplines around the globe. The fundamental objective of the Publications Committee is to determine, create, launch, and help disseminate top quality publications within the scope of the Institute.
The Publications Committee organizes and structures scientific journals, e-journals, technical magazines, e-books on emerging scientific and business challenges, portals, and digital libraries in computer science, social-informatics and telecommunications engineering domains. The Committee focuses on emerging scientific fields, and identifies and selects researchers with the highest international standing to lead the Editorial Boards, thus supporting the Institute's publications as Editor-in-Chief. Furthermore, in order to amplify the quality of the publications and improve efficiency of dissemination, the Committee promotes the use of novel e-tools (e-Scripts), which provide a significantly faster, web-based, transparent, and fair peer-reviewing process that is based solely on the scientific quality of submitted publications.
