Events Committee
The Events Committee will be responsible for:
- identifying possible events in emerging areas (including conferences, workshops, etc.),
- monitoring overall growth, quality, and future planning of existing events,
- approving new event requests from individual TABs,
- minimizing the overlap and repetition between events,
- coordinating events that have interest from more than one TAB, and
- removing the events that are not functioning well.
The Events Committee will work with the respective Events' Steering Committees and coordinate its recommendations with the Scientific Council.
