Biography
John R. Heath received his Ph.D. in Computer and Information Science from the University of Minnesota. He was Professor of Computer Science at the University of Southern Maine from 1976 until 2000. In 2000, Dr. Heath joined Sun Microsystems, where he stayed until 2006. He now heads a private consulting firm. Dr. Heath's research focuses on performance analysis and modeling of computer networks and distributed systems.
